Although Churchill only has a population of just over 1000, it certainly offers a lot for the visitor. Known as 'The polar bear capital of the world' you can observe these animals just a short distance from the town. You can also watch Beluga Whales dive at the mouth of the Churchill River.
In winter take a tour by snowmobile or drive your own dogsleigh team under the northern lights.
A 'must see' is the Eskimo Museum which houses some of the finest Inuit artifacts in the world.
